Review commentary

"Call of Cthulhu" is a horror fiction role-playing game inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's story of the same name and the associated Cthulhu Mythos. Published by Chaosium in 1981, it's now in its seventh edition. The game utilizes the Basic Role-Playing (BRP) system with special rules for sanity and luck, emphasizing a darker version of our world where fear of the unknown prevails. Players, called Investigators, delve into mysteries that often lead to encounters with supernatural and cosmic horrors, risking their sanity to uncover the truth.
