About the game
1967 · Ideal Toy Corporation · Star Trek · Planetary mission race
Players leave Earth, visit the three planets assigned by a mission card and race home. Numbered fuel cards control orthogonal movement across the grid, while planetary stops and movable fuel ships replenish spent cards. This licensed family game was the first published Star Trek board game and the only one released while the original television series was still in production; it is a race game rather than a tactical starship simulation.
