1. Choose the rules footprint
Confirm base dimensions and frontage in your chosen game before gluing figures down. Make a sample base and check movement trays, terrain, and storage.
2. Set a simple recipe
Use one ground base color, one lighter drybrush, and no more than two vegetation colors. Record the recipe and keep a finished sample near your paints.
3. Texture in batches
Spread glue thinly, sprinkle grit, and keep the figure feet visible. Tap away loose grains once dry, then paint and drybrush the ground.
4. Add restrained vegetation
Place flock in irregular patches instead of covering every inch. Paint the base rims one uniform color, then seal when everything is fully dry.
