Welcome to Battleward, your ultimate destination for all things gaming. Here, we explore, discuss, and share everything from the latest games to timeless classics.

I began this website because I ran into some very interesting gaming groups on Facebook, however, there are a lot of groups I like and trying to keep up with so many groups, especially on a cell phone, had become unwieldy. So, I thought to myself, 'What if I brought all this gaming goodness to one location?' Hence, this website was created. I'd previously purchased the domain name but the host supplied website builder was a bit clunky plus it's a Content Management System (CMS) and I don't care for those. The gaming blog I had running on the CMS was slow and difficult to use. It was just another reason to start this website, which incidently is free of any CMS.

To meet that end, I've sort of planned what I want battleward.com to include. First, a roboust listing of games with reviews and not just any willy nilly game, but games that might be from an independent designer and/or publisher that are not usually found on some other gaming sites. Next, a photo gallery that allows each member to have a generous amount of storage for photos and even video that can be shared with others on here. Perhaps incorporate the option to have live chats, with the members being able to create new chat rooms on a whim. And there are a lot of other things I want to include. I'll save the rest until I have a firmer handle on some of the things I want to do vs those thing I can do.

For now, I'll just keep plugging away until "WE" get this site the way we like it. Also, once I decided to do this, I invited a few people, all gamers, to help out by giving me suggestions on what they would like to see added to the website. I've made a few changes as per the suggestions I've recieved, but I really would like to have even more suggestion and/or opinions and/or comments on improving the website.
