Far Reaches Character Generation in C++

Creating characters is a fundamental joy in role-playing games, offering a gateway into the game's deeper world. However, as a game designer working on RPG rules, repeatedly rolling up characters manually began to wear on me. Surprisingly, I reached a point where even the sight of a D10 dice became unbearable—a bit dramatic, I know!
To help alleviate this tedium, I turned my efforts toward technology. I decided to leverage my very basic programming skills to build a C++ application for random character generation. The initial coding process wasn't smooth, with the code more often upside down and sideways than correct. After several hours of debugging and troubleshooting, I managed to get the application running flawlessly. Yet, my work isn't done; I plan to continuously expand the application, adding new features and pushing its capabilities.
Currently, the application generates random characters, but I aim to enhance it further to print out full character stats, expanding its utility. While many traditional gamers prefer the tactile experience of manual creation, the convenience of an automated tool can't be underestimated, especially during an extensive character creation binge or even when testing new RPG game rules.
The thought of releasing this character creation tool to the public has crossed my mind. Making it available could serve many in the RPG community who might appreciate the efficiency and ease it brings to character generation. Only if I can get the application where I want while working out any bugs. We shall see.
