I've finally finished with the national troop tables. These tables assign the values to each nation's troops based on historical attributes and kinks. In this regard I've done a lot of reading. Until my cupeth overflowed.

For example, using various sources, including the Spanish "Biblioteca Digital Hispánica", I was able to access records, both official and personal, of the fighting during the Peninsular War. I was somewhat surprised as to the actual history, rather than the history some historical authors want to cite. Unfortunately, a lot of the historical "data" is taken from the notes of 3rd party observers of battles, or the memoirs of the victors, meaning it may not be a truthful or factual perspective. However, somethings were, without a doubt, spot on, as the British say.

In my opinion the decentralization of the Spanish government, especially when King Ferdinand VII was removed from the seat of power, made it even more difficult for Spain to properly defend against the French. However, the Spanish excelled at guerilla warfare and this sort of strategy helped defeat the French.

So yeah, I've completed the national troop list. Steady on!
