I've been away for a bit, but not that I've been doing nothing as I've done something. Actually, I've done several somethings.

I continue to work on a few things:
  1. Traveller
  2. Far Reaches
  3. Bold & Glory

1. Traveller- I assume everyone is familiar with the science fiction RPG named Traveller, so I won't get into a big explanation of the game. I'm creating my own adventures for Traveller, and it isn't easy but I'm enjoying doing so.

2. Far Reaches is my own science fiction RPG creation, which I designed and created with one aim in mind, to create an RPG universe where nothing is set into stone. There is no prehistory to worry about, as each GM creates their own as they see fit. It also means the GM and possibly the players create their own aliens, and I'm steadily working on a system to do that very thing. However, these are not your everyday aliens as I wish to make things truly exotic and very alien. The alien creating system is not going to have bipedal beings as the center of its focus, rather the system will allow for various types of shapes, sizes, thinking, and etc. The entire Far Reaches game system is based on the percentile system to offer greater variety in hit and damage results as well as other elements. The Character creation system is complete, the Ship Building system is still in the early stages, and the world building is still thoughts and notes. I'm also attempting to keep all systems consistent with each other.

3. The Bold & The Glory is a percentile-based Napoleonic miniatures game system I'm developing. It can use 15 mm or 28 mm figures where each 1 inch represents 20 paces, or 50 feet. Everything is built from the ground up, with loads of help from various people of the various groups I belong to. At first, some people were comparing the game to Empire, but I assure you, the game is nothing like any version of Empire. The game is still in its early stages, but it has followed some of the rule's basics other games offer, with changes to and additions of to parts of the game that were considered weak or less developed. I've also included fatigue as a major factor. Every book that I've read, based on private letters and memoirs, complained about how tired the men became after a time, which meant, at least in my estimation, that they became less efficient, slower, less accurate, etc. Some of the rules will reflect the effects of fatigue especially for a prolonged battle. Green troops will be affected by fatigue more so than veterans, who are used to operating in that harsh combat environment.

I haven't worked on much else, although I would like to. Until my health improves, I'm regulated to doing what I can when I can.
