My friends from a couple of non-Facebook media systems have been very curious as to the meaning of the website's name, battleward.com. As I've explained previously, the term, battleward simply means to go toward battle. I'm uncertain as to when it was first used, or even how it was first used, nevertheless, the phrase has come into common use.
So, toward battle, it's very much self-explanatory. I hope this has aided those who needed it.
