Are D&D, Traveller, Pathfinder and other such games more to your liking? Nothing wrong with that, some of my fondest memories come from when I played those RPGs.
I've been working on a way to create aliens at whim, especially during adventures, when a player(s) wants to know the creatures around them. With this creation tool I can whip up an alien species fairly quickly.
