Age of Eagles V2

This actually concerns miniatures from all sorts of games and the terrain they're played on.

Age of Eagles V2

Post by Gene »

Several gamers have expressed the opinion that Age of Eagles (AoG) 2nd Edition, by retired Colonel Bill Gray, based on the ACW rules "Fire and Fury", is a pretty good game, with a distinct tang of the Napoleonic era. Although, I've been told I've played the AoG game in the past, and my experience of the game was less than positive, I don't recall the time I played it. Perhaps I did, I simply don't remember (it's what happens as we get older, our memory begins to fade). My point is, I think I would like to give AoG another try.

To this end, I've been studiously reading the rules and playing a couple of small solo games. So far, I've enjoyed the experience this has offered.

Below is the QRS used in the AoG game, and alone they are rather informative. especially If you don't have a rules set. I urge gamers to look at the QRS to get an idea of the game.
